Supporting Buxton
Buxton, like other independent schools, colleges, and universities, depends on our larger school community support through donations, volunteering and other contributions to maintain the programs and personnel we provide to our students. There are a variety of ways for you to contribute to Buxton’s well-being.
The Buxton Fund is a collection of annual gifts, small and large, from alumni, current and alumni families, trustees, businesses and other friends of the school. Together they enhance faculty resources, financial aid, academic and extracurricular programs, and other endeavors that matter most to the quality of each student’s Buxton experience. Gifts can be made all at once or pledged over a period of time.
Buxton’s Capital Campaign, Preserving the Past—Ensuring the Future, continues to toward the ambitious goal of $4.6 million. Renovations to the classroom building, the barn, and other necessary improvements around campus are already completed. The next phase of the project is to construct a fine-arts complex, uniting all media in one area. Endowment-building is also part of the campaign.
While supporting Buxton financially is hugely important, we also need and appreciate volunteer support, from being a class agent, to hosting admissions events or regional alumni gatherings, to helping with Reunion.
