Recently, students had the special opportunity to visit Jackie Sedlock, a former faculty member and alumni parent, at her ceramics studio in Vermont. There, they got hands-on experience with the fascinating art of wood-fired ceramics, a unique process where wood ash and flames dance with the clay and glaze to create beautiful, unexpected effects.
