John Churchill ’79 Hikes the AT

John Churchill ’79 stopped by on his through-hike of the Appalachian Trail. Starting this past spring, John has hiked from Georgia and is going all the way to Maine over the next few weeks. He was glad to get a day to visit Buxton and see the things that have changed– and what has stayed the same. John is a retired pediatric orthopedic surgeon currently living in Florida.
