We were delighted to welcome Jacob Spector ’02 back to campus this spring. Jake was here working with David Denhard and orchestra on two pieces for Spring Arts, Dance Practice and the world premiere of By and By. Both pieces were composed for the occasion, and mark the launch of the BARC (Buxton Alumni Return to Compose) program. Since Jake was on campus for orchestra rehearsal, he also rejoined chorus for the spring performance. Look for more alumni composers on campus in the future, and many thanks to Jake for his contributions to a great weekend!
